Am I alright? Am I still sane?
Is there no way to rid this pain?

Would it be good for my own sake?

Maybe you were there and did love me...
Either way, I love you and I hope you see.

In the dead of the night,
I can catch such a fright.
And though I try with all my might,

I write, but nothing is read.
I talk, but no one is listening.
I sit here, alone in my insanity.
Will someone come and save me from this pain?

Gone without a single word.

Left here to wallow in my own self-pity.
But... I can't stand to be like this anymore.
There is always hope on the horizon, right?

Night comes.
Nightmares appear.
Sanity leaves.
Tears are shed.

Dawn arrives.
Conscience regained.
New day.

There are two days in every week
about which we should not worry,
two days which should be kept free
from fear and apprehension...

One of these days is Yesterday
with all its mistakes and cares,
